Evelyn Abrams Memorial Scholarship
CCSD female seniors who are interested in pursuing a degree in education or business at an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 3.0 unweighted cumulative GPA is required and students must demonstrate financial need.

Adelson Scholarship
CCSD seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in the field of health services at an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA is required and students must demonstrate financial need.

Adelson Family Scholarship
CCSD senior who are dependents of a Venetian Resort Hotel Casino employee and plan to attend an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. Employees of the mall stores and non-Venetian owned restaurants do not qualify. A minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA is required and the students must demonstrate financial need.

Alliance of Black Culinarians Scholarship
CCSD seniors with a minimum 2.5 GPA may apply. Students must demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to minority students and those interested in a career in culinary arts. Important Note: The application deadline for this scholarship is March 31, 2008.

American Nuclear Society Nevada Section Scholarship
CCSD seniors who plan to major in nuclear engineering or a nuclear science related field (e.g., Radiochemistry, Health Physics, or the Nuclear Engineering option in Mechanical Engineering) at UNLV may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 3.8 cumulative GPA is required.

Susan Ayers Memorial Scholarship
CCSD seniors who attended Estes McDoniel Elementary School may apply for this scholarship. Applicants must plan to attend an accredited post-secondary college or university. A minimum 3.0 unweighted cumulative GPA is required.

Jeannette Bautista Memorial Scholarship
CCSD seniors who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution in the field of education may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA is required. Special preference is given to secondary education mathematics majors. Students must also demonstrate financial need.

Blues Ambassador Scholarship
CCSD seniors who have demonstrated interest and achievement in the arts and/or shown leadership in encouraging understanding among people of diverse backgrounds may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required and students must demonstrate financial need. Students must plan to attend an accredited institution of higher learning.

Donald Franklin Bradley Memorial Scholarship
CCSD seniors who plan to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as a full-time student for a major related to photography may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (weighted or unweighted) is required. Preference will be given to students that can demonstrate financial need.

Susan Brager Occupational Education Scholarship
CCSD seniors who have completed a minimum of two years of an established occupational education program may apply. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required. Students should plan to attend a school in the Nevada Higher Education System within Clark County.

Valley High School seniors who plan to attend an accredited college or university as a full-time student beginning in the fall may apply for this scholarship. Students must describe their leadership roles and any community service involvement.

John Caoile Memorial Scholarship
Durango High School AFJROTC program seniors who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution and have excelled in the areas of leadership, community service, and extra-curricular activities may apply. Other requirements include a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Clark High School Academy for Mathematics, Science and
Applied Technology Scholarship

The Academy for Mathematics, Science and Technology (AMSAT) at Clark High School is a magnet program for qualified students recruited from all middle schools throughout the Las Vegas area. AMSAT introduces students to the world of mathematics, science, and applied technology and provides them with career and academic options that will enable them to develop new perspectives on the professional working world.

Clark High School Academy of Finance (A.O.F.) seniors who are interested in pursuing a degree in business, economics, or finance at an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required and the student must have successfully completed the A.O.F. Program.

Teacher Education Academy at Clark High School (T.E.A.C.H.) seniors who are interested in pursuing a degree in education at an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA is required and the student must be currently enrolled in the T.E.A.C.H. Educational Internship and Seminar course.

CCSD seniors who have worked to create a school environment free of discrimination, harassment, and intolerance by building bridges between the gay/lesbian and straight communities may apply for this scholarship. Students must have a 2.5 minimum GPA and plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution. Financial need may be considered.

Any CCSD senior who is a single mother desiring to advance her education at an accredited post-secondary institution to provide a better future for her familyy may apply. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required and the student must demonstrate financial need.

Mickey Donnelly Memorial Scholarship
CCSD seniors who attended Walter Johnson Junior High School for a minimum of one year and plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution in Nevada may apply for this scholarship. A minimum of a 2.5 unweighted cumulative GPA is required.

Travis Dunning Memorial Scholarship
Green Valley, Coronado, Foothill, Silverado and Liberty High School seniors who plan to attend an accredited four-year college or university may apply. Applicants must have a 3.0 weighted or unweighted GPA. Financial need will be considered. Important Note: The application deadline for this scholarship is March 31, 2008.

Don English Memorial Scholarship
CCSD seniors who plan to attend an accredited college, university, or institute of photography or journalism as a full-time student may apply for this scholarship. Field of study must be photography, media arts, or journalism. A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required. Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.

Epicurean Charitable Foundation Scholarship
All high school seniors in Clark County who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution as a full-time student during the academic year following their graduation may apply for this scholarship. Applicants must plan to obtain a bachelor's degree and major in Hotel Management or Food & Beverage programs. Other qualifications include demonstration of financial need and a cumulative GPA of 2.75.

Evening Mesquite Club Scholarship
CCSD female seniors who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution in Nevada as a full-time student beginning in the fall of 2008 may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required and the student must demonstrate financial need.

Valley High School seniors who plan to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as a full-time student beginning in the fall may apply for this scholarship. Students must describe their leadership roles and any community service involvement. Students are also asked to explain their career goals and aspirations. Financial need will be considered.

CCSD seniors who demonstrate an interest in mathematics and plan to attend a Southern Nevada accredited college or university may apply. Areas of study should includ, but are not limited to, mathematics and education.

CCSD seniors with a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA who are affected by a heartdisease may apply. Financial need may be considered.

Glazing Industry Scholarship
High school seniors and post-secondary students in Nevada who are children or grandchildren of individuals actively participating in the glazing industry may apply. Applicants must have a desire to achieve excellence through education, plan to attend a post-secondary program for which they meet the admissions requirements and have a minimum 2.8 unweighted cumulative GPA.

CCSD female seniors who are interested in pursuing a degree in physical education at an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 2.5 unweighted cumulative GPA is required and students must demonstrate financial need.

Michael J. Hoggard Memorial Scholarship
Green Valley High School seniors who have been on the school's soccer team for at least two years, including their senior year, and plan to attend an accredited post-secondary college or university may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required. Financial need will be considered.

JMA Architecture Studios Scholarship
CCSD seniors interested in pursuing a career in architecture who plan to attend a university with an accredited School of Architecture may apply for this scholarship. Students must demonstrate financial need. Preferential consideration will be given to students who have participated in the Clark County School District's drafting program. A minimum 3.0 unweighted cumulative GPA is required.

CCSD seniors of Asian descent who plan to attend an accredited college or university in Nevada may apply. Students who plan to major in "Business" will be given preference. A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required.

CCSD seniors who plan to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational school may apply for this scholarship. Student's CPA must be adequate for entry to the school. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States. Applicant must live at an address in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Las Vegas Elks Scholarship to Assist the Physically Challenged
CCSD seniors who are physically challenged and plan to attend an accredited college, university, or vocational school may apply for this scholarship. Student's GPA must be adequate for entry to the school. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States. Applicant must live at an address in Las Vegas, Nevada. Financial need will be considered.

Melissa A. Lyles Memorial Scholarship
CCSD seniors who have demonstrated academic achievement in a minimum of eleven (11) Honors or Advanced Placement courses and plan to attend an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. Students must describe their extracurricular activities, leadership roles, and participation in athletics. A minimum 4.0 weighted cumulative GPA is required.

Durango High School AFJROTC program seniors who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution either during or immediately following enlistment in any branch of the U.S. military may apply. CCSD seniors who attend a PTSA high school and/or Teacher Education Academy at Clark High School (T.E.A.C.H.) and who are pursuing a degree in education and plan to attend a post-secondary college or university may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA is required.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Las Vegas Scholarship Program
Applicants must be a high school senior in Clark or Nye County in Nevada. Applicants must eligible to attend an accredited post-secondary educational institute in the fall of 2008 (includes colleges, universities, junior colleges, vocational institutes, and trade schools.) Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA-unweighted. Applicants must submit a complete application with all required documents.

Elizabeth Shafer Memorial Scholarship
CCSD seniors interested in pursuing a degree in the culinary field may apply. A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA is required and financial need will be considered. Applicants must be US citizens, either by birth or naturalization.

CCSD seniors who are dependents of a Silver Nugget Gaming Team member and plan to attend an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. No minimum GPA is required, however a formal essay from the student explaining why she/he merits this scholarship is required. CCSD seniors who attend Rancho High School, Desert Pines High School, Community College East and Area Technical Trade Center, demonstrate an interest in the arts and business, and have shown leadership skills may apply for this scholarship. No minimum GPA is required, however, a formal essay from the student explaining why she/he merits this scholarship is required. Southern Nevada Floorcovering Association Excellence Through Education Scholarship
CCSD seniors and post-secondary students in Nevada who are children or grandchildren of participating Southern Nevada Floorcovering Association (SNFA) members and their full-time employees may apply for this scholarship. Students must be nominated by a participating SNFA member in good standing and demonstrate their desire and motivation to achieve excellence through education. Applicants must plan to attend a post-secondary program and have a minimum 2.8 unweighted cumulative GPA.

CCSD seniors who have participated in athletics for the past four years may apply for this scholarship. Students must describe their participation in athletics and leadership roles. A minimum 3.2 unweighted cumulative GPA is required.

Cimarron-Memorial High School seniors who are interested in pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 3.0 unweighted cumulative DPA is required and students must demonstrate financial need. CCSD Northeast Region high school special education seniors who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution for which they meet entry level requirements may apply.

Tall Awareness Scholarship
CCSD students who will be attending an accredited post secondar school in the fall and meet a minimum height requirement of 5'10" for female students and 6'2" for male students may apply. Selection will be based on height requirement, financial need, academic achievement, volunteer work, school activities, and service to the community. All students chosen as semi-finalists must be available for a personal interview and will be invited to attend te Tall Awareness Scholarship reception. A medical-doctor-confirmed verification must be provided to the selection committee at the time of the interview.

Cimarron High School seniors with a minimum 3.25 GPA who participate in FIRST Robotics and plan to attend an accredited post-secondary college or university may apply for this scholarship.

Rancho High school seniors who plan to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, as a full-time student beginning in the fall may apply for this scholarship. A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required and demonstrated financial need is required.

Edwin F. Wiegand Science & Technology Scholarship
CCSD seniors who plan to pursue a degree in science, technology, computer science, or a related field at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, or the University of Nevada, Reno, may apply for this scholarship. Priority will be given to students who have been involved with CyberCorps or CCSD's InterAct™ Online Learning Community. Students must explain their career goal aspirations in the essay portion of this application and demonstrate financial need. A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required.
