Initiated in 1992 to encourage teacher innovation, improve student performance and recognize best practices, The Foundation's grant programs continue to grow. Today, our grant programs focus resources on literacy, improving school attendance, increasing parental involvement, ensuring access to technology and promoting best practices. We encourage all Clark County teachers, counselors, support staff and administrators to apply. TO TEACHER For more information, please contact MYRA GREENSPUN TEACHER EXCELLENCE AWARD The Public Education Foundation is now accepting nominations for the Myra Greenspun Teacher Excellence Award. Each year, one teacher will be selected to receive an award of $3,000 to be used in his/her classroom or for professional development as well as an honorarium of $1,000.
